About Bengt

My name is Bengt Wendel, I live and work in the southern part of Sweden.

Coaching.

In August 2007 I joined a coaching course at CoachCompagniet (Sweden). I have been coaching friends and workmates before but that course made me a professional coach.

Work in IT.

I started working with IT in 1971, ten years before the birth of the PC (personal computer) and twenty years before the birth of the internet (to the public). I have seen the evolution of computing from inside the business. This means I have 35+ years of experience which I combine with a living interest in IT and its practical use. I have 12 years of self employment as an entrepreneur, the rest of those years are as employed.

Network

Business networks.

XING is a great business and social network. I enjoy the discussions in the groups/forums and have met interesting people there, some of them also offline. If you are not a member yet I suggest that you join.

I am also a member at LinkedIn, another online business network. LinkedIn has no forums on their own, those end up at places like Yahoo Groups.

Blogging.

My interest in blogging made me join LinkedinBloggers and start BloggingNetwork.

Organisations.

I am a member of Mensa and I do volunteer work for The Hunger Project. I am also a member of NERV, a cross border Swedish-Danish organization active in the intersection between arts and business.
